No. I watched TOTP from the age of 6, I'm now 18 and the focus seems to have shifted from the music and onto how extravagant and loud the presenters are. It used to be a few minutes presenting followed by back to back preformances.
The actual preformances have decreased in quality as well. Many preformances are proven to be lip sync-ing, or are just repeats of the video. Also my tastes have changed from the mainstream and I find that only the big names get on now- in the 70s little known experimental bands such as Kraftwerk were given a chance to do a live act, now they wouldn't have a hope.
I find better clips and material on the Net, especially for obscure bands.
They also messed the format up big time, vhanging the theme song and also using supposedly better graphics which were supposed to give a modern feel but I found them distracting, and as I need glasses, often hard to read. The thme song was also good so why did they have to change it?
So at the end of the day, I do have some happy memories of it, but it isn't the show I knew.

It never moved with the times and lived on past glories. It could have competed no problem with all the music channels who show the same videos each and every day or have giggling presenters who think that a Sex Pistol is a dildo. It was badly managed in my opinion which is THE cause of its demise. I have a family now and have gradually over the years been unknowingly weaned off it LOL so i wont really miss it.

For many years it was a must for bands as well as pop fans however it never realy moved with the times and the format became very tired. One programme with all the chart bands and the countdown to number one, great memories., everyone of a certain age will have their own, mine is Queen doing `Killer Queen` 1974 .............

I reckon it's only us oldies who'll miss it. Young people have much better access to new music than we ever did, what with 24hr music channels and everything. I know MTV is decades old now, but who could receive it back in the 80s?

No. The show had become very outdated, and personally I think the format was all wrong. But hey, you never know, they have a habit of dropping these shows, only to revive them a while later, with bigger and better things.
