How do I get rid of all the spams in yahoo mail?

They keep showing up even after I select the SPAM Button

i solved this prob my creating a new folder, then using filter in setting and move all my friends' mail to that folder. Often you can filter those mails with @yahoo.com, @hotmail.com, etc. Most of spam mails r end with very strange ones :p

This is probably because the messages are not marked as blocked. Click options in your yahoo email, it's near the top right, then click on spam protection, then scroll down a bit there will be something that's says:
Mark Spam + Not Spam
When I mark a message as Spam, in addition to deleting the message:
Check the box that is right before: Add the sender's email address to my blocked addresses list.

This will block those sender from sending you stuff when you report them.The spam level should go down. I you don't want spam at all and want it instantly deleted when it gets to your spam box click the box that is right before the words: Immediately delete these messages upon receipt. (Note: If you choose this option, you will not be able to review the messages before they are deleted.)
This thing is in the same place as where i told you that you could put them in your block list.(option-spam protection-spam filter-immediately delete.
