A little girl goes missing from her own back poarch 10 days ago. After voluntares help search the neighborhood, park, and just about 85% of the county they find nothing.
The FBI are involved from the beginning, helping to search.
On their 4th search of a neighbors house they find the little girl's body (5 years old).
If this man is proven guilty of killing the little girl what do you think his punishment should be?
This is a true story that just happened in Salt Lake City, Utah.
If you were the parents what would you want to have happen to this man?

Ohh :( I saw the story on CNN Monday night and I didn't know they found a body :( That is so awful.
Personally, I think the man should be physically castrated and used as a test subject for new drugs and procedures for mental or medical treatments not FDA approved yet for the rest of his rotten life. At least he could then be useful to society as well as learn his lesson.
If it were my daughter, I might kill the man myself with some blunt object.

It's not that I don't believe in the Death penalty, but I think he should get life with no parole. I have always thought these criminals should have to live out their lives in a small cell. They are reminded every day (in this case for a lot of years, since he is young.) of the horrible thing they have done. They don't have a nice life but know they are missing one, that has to mess with their minds.

I like Mariah's answer that the perpetrater should be used as a test subject for new drugs. But remember that first you have to convict him!!! Right now he is still innocent.
But my question is: Why did it take them so long to find the body? Shouldn't they have used search dogs or something?
