Do this for the next 6 to 10 years first......Watch all of the grown ups, talk shows, friends, neighbors, and, women in your family. Pay close attention to the things that they complain about regarding their boyfriends/ significant others. Look at all of the other things you could be doing instead of concerning yourself with getting a boyfriend. Not sure who you are, or, where you live, but, I can tell you this, kids are becoming mothers at very early ages these days. Two teens have a baby, the girl's life immediately changes. The guy, the boyfriend you so desperately wanted, should be there for you and his kid, but will he? Be careful with the whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing. If thats what you choose to do, God Bless you, child. You might want to talk to your mother, or, an aunt, or grandmother about this topic. Think about it, they were once your age, and, most likely have gone through the very thing you are going through. As a man, with a young daughter, I only ask you to trust in your mother, or, some other mature female who will give it to you straight. Not the watered down, "that's so cute", or, "my baby likes boys now". My last point is that somehow, some way, when ever we relax and let things like growing up, dating, marriage, etc run the proper course, they tend to work out for the best. Good luck, and, enjoy your youthful single years as a kid while you have them. BY THEY WAY.....your question, eventhough it's in the wrong category, is going to stir up a lot of emotion even in adults. Good topic for us all. You'd be surprised at the number of adults who are wondering exactly what you are/were. To them I say, don't rush it, be patient.

How do you get "twelve" and not "does"? Honey, don't be worrying about getting a boyfriend. That will come with time. Instead empower yourself. Do well with your schoolwork. Make something of yourself. Schooling is much more important than boys at this point in your life. And believe me, once you deal with a few boys you'll be wondering why you were so anxious to get one!

You don't need a boyfriend yet. Grow up some more then you will have a better idea of what you like and don't like in boys. Wait until you are 16 so that you can always get home from wherever you go on a date. Just have fun and don't worry about dating.

You have got to know that you are the sh*t. Be confident in your own skin, and out going. That is the easiest way to meet guys is by talking to them. If you have a guy in mind like a friend, just be yourself. Guys like genuine girls who dont try to be someone they are not. Good luck! Flirting and finding a guy who wants you, wants to date at such an age, and someone who you want (good luck with all that).
