The website sez a boxster with the manual transmission will get 28 highway, 20 in the city. We can probably assume that, fresh from the factory, it meets your "well serviced, modern" requirements.

you do hear stories of these engines doing 200,000 miles
so if looked after....who knows

apart from the boxster engines the rest of them can take a lot of abuse when looked after.
