Walt Disney World is so much better. The Magic Kingdom is similar to Disneyland. The only ride I miss that they do not have is the Matterhorn. I have not been to Disneyland since they added California Adventures, but some of those rides have an equivalent at Walt Disney World. Walt Disney World has the Epcot Center which is a fun place to learn. MGM Studios has fun rides and cool shows. The Animal Kingdom had thrill rides and a 3-D show based on the Bug's Life movie. Plus there are two water parks that have fun water slides and Downtown Disney where you can create your own roller coaster and go on a simulated ride. The only problem with Walt Disney World is that there is too much to do. I have gone four times over the last 22 years and have still not done everything I have wanted. Next time I go though, I am going to incorporate the Disney Cruise with my trip.

OK OK OK I have to answer this one since I work for the mouse I am a little biased....I prefer Disneyland because its small and quaint but if you want a whirl wind vacation there's so much more to do in florida....when walt disney bought the land in california I dont think that he knew how much it would grow! We really dont have much space to work with cuz if we did we would have expanded a lot more....in florida you have no idea how much land the walt disney company owns....sheesh there we even own an island for the disney cruise....I do wish though that some more attention would go to disneyland like put in more attractions in DCA and more food places in disneyland....

Disney World becauseit has more charcters so much great rides. Magic Kingdom is like disney land but Magic kingdom was a big walt disney dream. Epcot opened in 197? it so cool becuase you can see all the amazing sites from around the world and this theme park has the most high tecnolgy rides. MGM a super place if you love movies and thrills. Animal kingdom opened 1998 it is the least favorit park at disney world disney land is better than animal kingdom but now i think it is better with th new mt.everst ride. and those are the four bes theme parks in the world.

I've been to both. Disneyland is better because, being the original, it has the heart and you can really feel it. DW is so big that it feels like nothing more than a tourist destination, which is still fun, but I prefer the one with heart.
In almost all cases, the attractions at Disneyland are better than the same one at DW. DW wins for their Tower of Terror, but all other duplicate attractions are much better at Disneyland. DW has the worst stage shows, they should be ashamed. See Fantasmic at Disneyland for sure. Don't bother seeing ANY shows at DW with the exception of the Lion King show at Animal Kingdom.

Disney World is so much better than Disneyland, plus if you stay at a hotel near the park it is way cheaper than the rates of hotels near Disney Land.
