Just from your response...I don't think it would be a good idea. Then friend winks at you. Then again maybe your wife has something planned for herself...she wants you to go on a date with her best friend.

You so should not. That is a set-up of great proportions. Run away from that situation now. And why does your wife want you to go out on a date with her friend?
I totally understand knowing your place in your spouses life and being confident in your relationship, but there is something wrong if she would encourage you to go out with another woman, even if it is her friend. Most of the time when an extra-marital affair happens, it is the friend.
Watch out for your wife.

Have you asked your wife, why she wants to do that?
Is she looking for a reason to get a divorce, or is it that she is so sure of you, she maybe made a bet with her friend? I think everyone involved here is playing a very dangerous game, unless the best friend is considering moving in with both of you, once she has experienced your 'quality'.
I would seriously question the intention of the 2 women.

that's not normal there has to be a reason she wants you to go. If you love your wife and want to stay married I wouldn't go. And if she really loves you she will be proud and happy that you said no and that gives you points ahead. Though if she gets mad because you said no there is some wrong maybe she's cheating.

Does your wife have a boyfriend??No woman wants her husband to go on a date with another woman. I would say don't go if you want to stay married, and try and find out why she wants you to date.

complicated. why would your wife want you to go on a date? is this like a friendly one? i guess if your wife wants you to. but don't kiss her. make the date one she wouldn't want to repeat but not so bad that your wife gets mad. good luck.
