I started my period last Tuesday and was supposed to start my birth control pills the following Sunday but I forgot. Is it ok to start the pills this Sunday or do I HAVE to wait until my next cycle?

You should use protection until you can start your pills, if sexual activity is the reason you are getting on them...for that matter, if sexual activity was your reason, you should still use protection even AFTER you start your pills unless you have been in a monogamous relationship and are certain of your partner's sexual health, since the pill doesn't protect against STD's or AIDS

you are supposed to take the first one on the first day of your next period and then when the packs finished you have weeks break for your period. so its 3 wks on pill 1 wk off.

i think you will need to wait until your next period. Never mess with these pills.
