Ok, I have a 5 month old girl. She is very well fed and it seems she has some type of attatchment to her bottle. She can start to whine when she is hungry so I go make her bottle and if she catches a glimpse of the bottle while I am making it she goes into the biggest fit I have ever seen. And she stays in a screaming raging fit until the bottle is in her mouth. Is this normal and will she grow out of it?? I know that they have stages and right now it is the oral stage but my goodness I have never seen a baby act this way??

She is fed every 3 hours and drinks 5 1/2 to 6 ounces of milk. And when I give her food she eats a whole stage one baby food and then 3 to 4 ounces of milk. I let her tell me when she is full and believe me she is a chunky little one. she is 27 and 3/4 inches long and 17 pounds already so I am pretty sure she is getting enough to eat.

That sounds completely normal. She knows the bottle is "food" and she wants it the minute she sees it. My 10 month old daughter does the exact same thing still, and even knows she is going to get her baby treats when she sees the container. lt's just their way of verbalizing since they can't talk.

Maybe for now heat up her bottle a little bit before her feeding time so it i salready ready by the time she realizes how hungry she is . Also try your best not to let her see the bottle before it is time ot eat to
good luck

Don't worry this is very normal...trust me I have 4kids and all of them did it .... and the last two are fraternal twins, now the important thing is that you keep a schedule with her feeding....don't do the mistake of popping a bottle in her mouth just because shes crying.....don't forget at this is the stage of teething and crying is her way of communicating she might feel comfort when she chews on the nipple try giving her a tithing toy....hope this can help you...good luck.

before each and every thing, she isn't undesirable. A 5 month previous does no longer have hte potential to be "undesirable". that is regularly occurring for babies to get annoyed and cry. They see a toy they prefer, and may no longer attain it. they prefer some interest, yet can no longer ask for it. they're hungry, yet do no longer understand the thanks to allow you to recognize. the very undeniable actuality that you're giving her "wide bowls of rice cereal beforehand mattress" may be the reason she is waking. Her abdomen is purely so huge, and he or she may be ingesting too a lot and getting a tummy discomfort. for sure, all of that foodstuff is likewise going to make her soil her diaper beforehand morning besides. ingesting 6 ounce bottles each and every 2 hours is out of the conventional. What type of milk are you making use of? you may favor to search for suggestion from her pediatrician-she may favor to modify to a special style. ought to she be teething? Have an ear an infection? i ought to assert that if she is crying a lot, there is something incorrect-no longer the baby being undesirable. I easily have a six month previous daughter, and he or she eats 4-six cases an afternoon (breakfast, lunch, supper and a couple of snacks). She for sure eats infant foodstuff, both jarred or handmade. And we've a mesh feeder that enables her to eat clean fruit, and so on. properly. per chance your daughter is purely getting lonely? i wish you uncover the answer, yet surely search for suggestion from the pediatrician in this one.

Just my opinion, I think its very cute and actually good that for a 5 month old recognizes the bottle from far, the reason she most likely dose it again is because it works, you give it to her. I'm not saying that you shouldn't give it to her she is to small for lessons, I think you should try not to show her the bottle until you are ready to give it to her. So you don't enforce it to a bad behavior.

LOL yeah, she is just letting you know she is hungry and you have what she wants! I would try feeding her food more, maybe the milk from her bottle is not enough. If you are already feeding her baby food feed her a little more ofter... good luck..

Yes. She's hungry, and that is her way of expressing it to you.
She is at the age where she recognizes objects, and knows that her food is in that bottle. Try keeping her in the other room whie you are making it, so as soon as it is ready, you can pop it into her mouth and avoid the screaming fit.
