We were divorced in May of this year. I still love her and apparently she still loves me as she has asked if I would try to reconcile with her. I got a job transfer to another state and have started to get my life together here but it would be very easy for me to transfer back. I had always thought there was another man involved but she insists there never was. Do you think I should allow her back into my life?

Think back to what life was like just before the divorce. Think about how both of you felt and why you got divorced. You will likely be feeling those same things shortly after you get back together. Those problems will not have gone away after 2 months apart.

The first thing is why did you get divorced - that does not change overnight. If the reason you got divorced has been resolved then maybe you could start talking again. I would not transfer or do anything like that just yet. This could just be the fact she has no one else right now and is lonely and once someone else comes along she will leave again. Talk to her on the phone and those sort of things but leave the marriage stuff (bedroom) out of the relationship.

I would tread slowly, don't make any quick committments and give it a try......

You both have had some space, even if she did have someone else, time has given her the time to realize that she still wants you, and if you still love her, there's a chance that it could all work out for the better.

You have your life together there, why not have her move with you and give you BOTH a fresh new start.

It may be one of the best things that could have happen to you both.......
