Only if the person you're searching for has entered that information into their public profile. Mine, for example, is a pseudonym as the account had another function when I set it up. My main Yahoo account only has my first name listed, as I dislike giving out my last name over the computer.

I think it is yahoo members:
When you enter the name you specify if it is their real name, yahoo ID, or an interest. There could be spelling issues though, like Liz, Elizabeth, Lizzie, etc. But this is where you can try.

recently, im using 360 blog for searching email account. Since 360 has just updated their services, most of people using will somehow automatically has their blogs (???), you could try that way.
Still, to me google is the best tool :pp, people easily give their email when joining forum :p
