This is what it's listed for in my book: Anagesic, Antiseptic, Expectorant, Infections, Lowers Cholesterol levels in the blood, Muscle relaxant, and Stimulant. Also says it's good for Lice (used externally) and Candida Albicans (Yeast Infection). This oil is never to be used straight and MUST be diluted. I would discourage using this internally. If you have been told to ingest Oregano Oil I would strongly recommend purchasing the capsules (Available at Health Food Stores) that are already formulated for those specific medical purposes.

Oregano Oil will kill a systemic yeast infection (Candida albicans) if used consistently, along with garlic, caprylic acid (from unrefined virgin coconut oil), and pau d'arco tea.

antifungal properties of oregano oil work effectively against stubborn fungal infections such as candida and nail fungus. You may use the oregano oil internally for candida and both externally and internally for nail fungus.
