EVERYONE on Y is not rude and annoying. Many are, but not EVERYONE.

You made to broad of a statement. Everyone is not rude and annoying. Some people are on here to seriously answer questions. The ones that are being rude and annoying are just bored and have nothing better to do than get under peoples skin. Sometimes the questions people ask are annoying too so what kind of answer do people expect to get if they ask annoying questions. Even the people that are on here to seriously answer peoples questions get annoyed with annoying questions and answer them in a not so positive way. But, don't trip off people. Some people are just rude and annoying in general for no reason in real life so you can't expect anything diferent from them on here. You just gotta brush it off.

Everybody on Answers isn't rude. But some of the questions are just fundamentally stupid. And The question "Who cares" just beckons to be the answer for a stupid initial question or maybe the responder really doesn't care

I don't believe I have ever been rude or annoying, but that is perception. If I have been rude, it's what the person who is reading perceives me to be. I know I have read some very rude answers to my questions, but I figure one of two things. Either the person didn't realize how rude he or she was being or this is how she or he has been brought up and I feel very badly for the life this person leads.

My dear fire..., i know that everyone in yahoo answers are not rude: Some are quite rude but, like i said not all. However, you do remember that yahoo makes room as to curb such unruly attitude in some. Also you have the prerogative to report them as being rude.
Thus, i do not respond to their rude behaviour or let it get to me: as a matter of fact, i see it as part of life and as their own way of expressing love and caring to me (though it could be hard to believe). Nevertheless, I respect their feelings . I do hope you do so too,

Not every on is... just some people thats just the way that life is i guess ... like me im not rude or annoing i like to give nice very smart inteligent answers but then there are the people who write those stupid Questions that ARE rude and annoying

I try never to be rude to anyone and always take a question serious or I just skip it. If I can't at least have a sense of humor leave a www. site for their information. Well now I'm boarding annoying so have a good day:-)

some ppl have nothing better to do.. the reason they joined yahoo answers was to collect points. probably because they think it boosts their ego. some of the nicer people on yahoo answers joined because they want to help people, and want help too.
For example, after i asked a question about big brother.. i got called a stupid moron.. just because i watch the show.. yet. im not the only person out there that watches it. and i recall many celebrities stating who they want to win.. doesn't that mean they watch it? yet i doubt they would call there fave celeb a stupid moron.
usually these people ask questions like...
"im 200 feet tall and weigh 1million pounds. am i overweight?"
obviously yahoo answers is just the result of these peoples social lives.

Just ask or answer questions that have to make people think or help solve a real problem and ignore the rude ones... they will always be in a public forum.

i do it when i find a stupid question or someone making a stupid comment. check my answers ive answered lots of questions nice and others ive answered being an asshole thats life.
growing up teachers always said there are no stupid questions. but now that im adult, i realize there are not stupid questions just stupid people asking thoughtless questions that are percieved as stupid questions

Granted there are a lot of rude, immature people out there but not all of us are like that. You may just notice them more because they piss you off. Try to see the good more often.
