I am capable and equipped to build the items you are discussing. However, if I wanted new items I would look into IKEA before I started making saw dust. I was surprised at the quality of the material used in their furniture and, because much of it comes disassembled, the assembly quality can be whatever you decide to make it. Additionally I was surprised as the prices won't break the bank, it isn't free but if you check a regular store first you will be amazed. I do understand more than most about furniture and have chosen to reinforce a few places on their merchandise. But honestly, that was my desire to build enough quality that things would last a lifetime.
BTW, if used is OK and it is, the yard sale, thrift shop, etc suggestions make great sense. My suggestion is only valid if you want new items.
Best wishes and good luck on your search...

Find a friend, aquantance, coworker, etc who has children a few years older than yours. Everyone who has had a baby knows that you end up with so much stuff that you are happy to get rid of it. In many cases, people will be so happy to get rid of it they will loan it to you, let you buy it for cheap, or just flat out give it to you.

try your local thrift stores and consignment shops. Yard sales are also a great way to find good used furniture.
