Have you tried the "one component at a time" approach?

Remove everything except the power supply, system board, and processor. See if you can turn it on with only that. (It won't boot yet, but see if it turns on.

If it powers, add another component (memory) and boot again.
If it powers, add another component (say video card). (At this point you should be able to get the manufacter's log on the screen)
Keep adding one component at a time until you find the one that is not working.

Hope that helps.

If not, please give more detail about what is not working or where you are having the trouble in the booting up.

if ur sure that all in place then the reason is ur cpu fan which stops after a while when powering up. cpu fan should be continuous the moment it stops, the computer will stop, also check if ur mother board is being suppllied power correctly by the power supply.

Re you sure you don't need to set any jumpers on the motherboard? Are you sure the CPU is seated properly? Sometimes those can be tricky to get in the right spot.

IF u have connected everything properly...i.e RAM...HDD...etc...make sure to check if u've given power supply to it also. Also check if the processor is getting its own power supply...sometimes u'll miss that. If it still doesn't work....this disassemble it and assemble it again.

First thing I suspect is the power supply. Is it plugged in. Does it have enough power to power up the system?

looks like you have a short. did you forget to remove a misplaced bolt where the mobo is mounted on?
remove the mobo and double check all the bolts beneath, you may have the bolts only where a hole is in the mobo.

just my first thought.
