I is quite revealing as to the responses that assume you are doing drugs/taking LSD. There could be many reasons for the question, from being the person carrying out the test to basic researching. The answer I would somewhat confirm as yes, they should be able to detect that a person consumed lysergic acid diethylamide but the biological compounds after initial consumption are more likely. Don't know if I believe that you could detect it after several years to any point of positive analysis probability (95th percentile??). BTW, it is interesting to read some of the original researcher's experiences.....

Yes, it can detect LSD. I have heard the maximum range being from 3-7 years. That all depends on whether you keep your hair short or long, what dyes you used in it, ect... Question. Why would you want to do something that has been proven to cause brain damage and in some cases death? You do know that a majority of what you find on the streets has been laced with strychnine, or rat poison, right? That's why it gives you cramps.

No, The amount of LSD consumed (~150 micrograms per dose) is below the detection limits once the drug is dispersed in the body. With that said you definately do not what to do LSD. It will cause brain damage.

Yes it can......the hair follice is not what is tested, it is the hair. If the drugs have been metabolized from your body, that includes follicles. The strand of hair, provides a history over a period of time. This is why some suggest cutting you hair.

Yes, the way they do hair test is to burn the hair and different colors appear in the burn and the colors show exactly what drugs have been done. To avoid this you can go to Evolution tapes and records and they have a varity of shampoo's to get rid of the drugs in your hair for a short period of time. It costs 24.95 and it works! The best way for drugs not to show up is to stop doing them. You can do it!!
