I like your phrase "nearly an infinity ago."
By atributing God to evolution you are denying the existence of God. You're saying he's just a guy, a superman of sorts, but not God, not the inifinite. No crime in atheism, but recognize it for what it is.

For any creation to take place requires a source of energy and power to do the Creation, so no evolution is required. There is a Power in the Universe from the very beginning. We could say that this Power is Atomic! If you look at an Atom it is made up of three parts: Electron(-),Proton(+) and a neutron. For any creation to take place requires a positive and negative charge. We live in a dual Universe, light and dark, hot and cold ETC. So no, I would say evolution had nothing to do with the Supreme Being- The Power, It is and always will be what it is!

Anything originated undergoes change and we may call that process even as death. So, that kind of a god will die also. When you take endless, infinity etc, there can be gods not one single god. The god I am mentioning is not somebody who made this universe but born along and evolved like us. But, ultimately these arguments will remain as arguments since our power of knowing just remains to the senses. Those who has gone beyond senses says so.........may be right. Because Buddha said so......he talked about higher beings and their evolution also.

It was the Christian God, the supreme Being and eternal intelligent Originator that organized such a complex conglomeration of plant life, animal life, rocks and minerals, and of course, man.
If anything it was God's infinite omniscience that created evolution: the survival of the fit and natural selection of the species.
Although Carl Sagan's documentaries prove that under controlled conditions cells were produced which over millenniums became organs, it was God in His ETERNAL wisdom in the first place, who organized/created this world where such elements exist.
Now then, since God is eternal, He supersedes this earth and all HIS creations therein.

Unlike the others, I know what you're asking: Did God create evolution? Sure, why not. I've met a LOT of people who both believe in God and accept the scientific truth of evolution.

The origin of what we called GOD is a question without an answer. It is like a circle without a starting and ending point.
Perhaps, GOD is indeed a product of human ingenuity, a powerful character created to successfully perpetuate his desire for dominance without the use of force but faith. Faith is a magic word commonly used to suppressed your hunger for the truth. Fear of retribution if you dare question GOD wisdom is another typical method employed by religious leaders to silent those who have doubts. GOD a product of evolution? definitely a far fetch idea because GOD was created by man to serve whatever purpose he have..

When we talk about evolution we talk about worldly creatures. They are in one way or the other reproduced. They are in groups... So your God must have a reproduction organ and has her peers too. Maybe your god came from apes,,too... I would like to **** them (your god and her peers) from deep behind..
Just ask this question to yourself: Why doesnt my supreme God is not intelligible to me? Why do I have to feel her with my heart and not with my brain? You have not questioned deeply these problems I guess. But I am happy to see that there are people who started to THINK. It is an asset..

Evolution is so overated! Why is mankind always trying to be 1 step above God. Can't they not just accept the fact that we are all sinners and without God we are NOTHING................ or are we just a conceited world.

I don't see why not. In fact, it's a rather attractive theory. Of course, for that to happen, evolution would have to transcend genetics at some stage. Then again, in the case of humans, one could argue that it already has ...

If your hypothesis were correct, then there should be some concrete evidence to demonstrate the existence of a supernatural agency i.e. god. Such evidence does NOT exist, therefore your hypothesis cannot be correct.
