I am backing up my music collection and have been saving most of my files as .wav files with no compression. They sound great, but they are taking up way too much room on my computer (I have over 1300 songs to backup at the moment). I need to pick a compression audio file that will give me the most sound quality for my memory. I've heard Org Vorbis is a good solution, but does anyone have any suggestions about it.

I would use MP3, but OGG gives it a little bit more compression (although it's not a whole lot from my experience).
