Seriously, go smell it. Is there something in it that is also in maple syrup?

hmmm- can't say I have ever noticed such a thing, but after reading the answers posted, If I *do ever* smell it and it's maple syrupy smelling, I guess I will pitch it!

Definitely a problem with your neo and not your smeller. Maybe something about the smell of neosporin just reminds you of maple syrup. The olfactory sense is the strongest tied to memory. The smell of a skunk always reminds me of ganja smoke.

Your neosporin is old. After the tube is open for 6 months it loses its antibiotic strength.

Mine doesn't smell like that at all, you better check you expiration date!!! And Quit Sniffing the Sporin' !!!!! lol
