You can't. This way people can't take others take from manuals and use it for themselves. You'll have to type it out if you want. OR you can print a segment out. Then if you have a scanner, scan it in and run an OCR (optical character recognition) software on the scan. OCR tries to take scanned in words and make them text. This way you can manipulate it as if it's your own.

You can click on file and then save as text, but, this won't fulfill your purpose, coz' you save it as it is. So, you have to get a software which converts .pdf to .doc(i.e. Word file).

What I would do is Go to File, then Save as text, and you should be able to copy & Paste from notepad.

you can use "print screen" which copys the page then you can paste it and crop the parts that you want...
