Coincidences can be though of as a sign(by who what where why..who knows) or as a window of opportunity cos some weird things have happened to me! For instance I dont know how many times Ive thought of somebody I havent seen in a while and then the next thing i bump into them! This is a belter of an example.....here we go!
I started working a few years ago in a factory as needed money for some travels. I started on a shift working with a guy and we got to talking about where we were from, families etc etc. So he said that he grew up where a lot of my family stayed. He said that he used to go to a snooker club and I mentioned that I had a cousin called Gerry that used to go there. He said thats funny cos my cousin called Gerry that used to go to this snooker club. Then I said Gerry has a sister called Lorraine and he said so did he. At this point I said that my Aunt and Uncle stayed near them. He said he had an aunt and uncle of the same name as mine.
At this point I was lookin for the family resemblance but knew for a fact he was no relation of mine. It turned out he grew up next door to my family and his mum and my aunt were best friend and he grew up with my cousins. after he told me his second name I did remember him from a long time ago!
Coincidence or something else....think I'll file it under X!!

Yeah, my husband was born 6 years later than me yet we both have our birth certificates signed by the same registrar, even my brothers was different to mine.
he has a sister in Australia I have one in Canada (not same country but still a different country)
My brother died early aged 38 a month before he would have been 39, his brother died three years ago but was 43 both were big drinkers.
He has a scar on his right thumb so do I.

You cannot "believe" in coincidences. They either don't happen, or they do (in which case, you have a coincidence, if you get my meaning). In our long and complex lives, coincidences can and do happen, sometimes even really bizarre or improbable ones. But there's nothing more to it than that.

i have the winner. i am organising a gig in my home town when one of the acts dropped out, then another both on the same day. As i was wondering what to do, i had my girlfriend phone up saying she knew a band, so she gave me the number of the guitarist to this band. I then had my cousin phone and say he knew of a band so he gave me another number and also, a friend gave me a third, completely different number. I phoned all three up and they were all members of the same band. Conincidence. I think not, fate.

No such ingredient! God has a plan and a purpose for each little thing that happens! we could basically see one piece of the puzzle at a time, yet God knows the large photograph and He can help us positioned our existence puzzle jointly if we merely enable Him help! (and while God does it, it continually finally ends up turning out lots extra proper than we ever could have concept it could have if we did it on out very own!)

you'd have to love the word serendipity and to see that movie to be going crazy/giddy
it's a small world out there...even tiny when comes full circle not expecting connections to reenter lol.
I had one friend who i thought didn't know another friend, but thru their sibling[s]

i like the word serendipity better.
i'm a long time 4H'er. at our state 4H camp i was chosen to be a delegate to another state's camp. at that camp i met the love of my life. we talked and learned that she was attending the same college as i was that fall. we got there, and found out that her best friend from home, who was also attending, went to church with my roomate!

yes, but i dont trust them (Garrak, a cardassian tailor)
and coincidences happen all the time, its a small world, and its getting smaller. but is it a coincidence? or is it just happenstance, or maybe serendipity... dejaVu.
