i go to internet options and clear my history. however, when i click on the history icon up top next to favorites, my history still shows up. when it shows there i highlight them and press alt & delete. but they come right back. how do i erase them?

Simple the only way I found to erase them is to right click on the day and select delete, They it will erase all history for that day

One other thing to do, next to the clear history button,lower the number of days that the PC will store your history.

If they are showing up in your browser then clear the cookies, History and everything you can in "Internet Options". Are you trying to Delete Porn? Heh heh heh.

You go to the folder you want to delete on your History, then you right-click and click Delete.

to CLEAN OFF what u have browsed, first clear history in internet options, the delete cookies, delete files and the go to content tab and say autocomplete and say clear forms and passwords.

delete them one at a time
what happens is the "clear history" button removes the history in your ADDRESS bar

i had the same problem, click on one of the tabs in history and then refresh the page

erase your cookies too and did you press apply and did you close your browser?
