I have red X's where graphics should be on alot of websites! I switched to DSL Monday and that's when it started. The same pages on dial up were working fine. Also everyone else I know can see the pages fine on their computers.

I'm using Internet Explorer..have Windows XP. I've talked to the help desk techies and none of them could help. They've suggested System Restore-done that didn't help...changing DNS #'s-didn't help...I don't know what to do....Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

You have the banners and graphics blocked. You need to go to your internet settings and enable all the graphics on the internet. This should make them able to show up.

They get blocked so that your computer is not taken by viruses and the performance isn't bogged from them trying to upload.

You seem to have the "Curse of the red exes". It is a very rare virus that is also loosly associated with the frozen screen, the 'fatal error message', the 'syntax error' and many other Microsoft mysteries. Good Luck!

Hmmm... Maybe update internet explorer. Get all the service packs.

Check your security settings also.

It also could be the website you are looking at?

Spray your monitor with windex. Then wipe clean with a paper towel. They'll go away
