Are ya joking? Through having oral, anal, vaginal, gay, straight, bi sex...when someone is infected with STDs or a STD. Use a rubber and get on the pill to prevent preggers, or better yet don't have sex. Be asexual...like a starfish it is safer :)

Sexually Transmitted diseases are spread by persons having unprotected sexual intercourse with persons who a promiscuous or also have the infection. It may be consciously or innocently.
You need to be careful of who you have sexual intercourse with unprotected.

They are spread in different ways. The majority are bacterial so are in sexual fluids and/or blood. During sex these fluids come in contact with each other and it then multiplies in your body. Herpes, warts and crabs etc. are spread by skin to skin and hair to hair contact so can be caught from other sexual acts. There are 28 known STI's and 8 have no symptoms.
