They reckon to give yourself at least a year or two for your body to recover from the birth, but usually when you feel ready to cope with more children!

As soon as your having sex again. Ussually after 2 months. Before that I guess it would be painful. Depends on individual. Don't believe the myth that says you can not get pregnant when you are breastfeeding. I've seen people do get pregnant while breastfeeding. So my doctor gave me a pill during that time which is Errin. It is safe to use it while breastfeeding. Won't harm the baby. It's very light, containing just one type of hormone. After you stop breastfeeding, you have to use a stronger type of birthcontrol pill. Or use condom all the time if you don't wanna be bothered with the hormone changes and all.

There is no time that you SHOULD get pregnant, do you mean, how long should you wait before getting pregnant again?
Its totally up to you, depending on your age and therefore level of fitness to cope with another baby so soon after another.
How many children do you want?
Are you trying to cram them into a short time ?
It is physically possible to get pregnant again once you stop breast feeding!

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant here https://tr.im/JigMw
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.

My recommendation would be to wait at least a year, but be advised you can get pregnant as soon as your periods restart or about three months. A lot of women mistakenly believe they cannot get pregnant while nursing.

My doc told me to wait at least 1 year after having a child to give your body time to recover. You can do what ever you feel is right for you. I have a 3 year old and no desire to have more at the moment.
You do what you feel is right for you and you family.

I believe it takes your body a full year to return to its optimum. Beware though, you are most fertile directly after you have given birth and for a 3 or so months.
