What is it? - the food & bevarage industry is basically selling food & drink - you can write that in your own words.

How it operates - see https://www.fdf.org.uk/showdoc/opendoc2.aspx?id=543

Where & for who? - it can be found everywhere: resturaunts, shops, sweets in cinemas, theme parks, fast food restaurant etc. It is for everyone as everyone buys and consumes food, whether they buy it ready made or buy the ingredients and make it themselves. Your teacher will probably want specific places thought, like mcdonalds is for people who like fast food.

Examples - McDonalds sell fast food, think of some more yourself.

All of those that you have mentioned are under the hospitality industry...
Hotels belong to the accomodations sector... they provide you amenities and let you stay for a certain time...You actually pay for the service..the amenities are just a drawing factor...
Restaurants belong to the Food and Beverage sector... and so does Catering...
Transportation is under transportation... Like airlines, boats, buses... Just from the word itself!

Actually, the hospitality industry is an umbrella industry... It has so many sectors!!
What excatly do you want to know?

In the hospitality industry...the employees are the assets since the industry really doesn't have a solid product... We provide service and that is what we are selling..
