There are four women with the same name as me, and several with the same look. One woman who looks like me, drives the same type of car I just traded from. I actually met her, her name was Kate, and she was a nice person.
I have lived in 26 different states, including Hawaii, and have managed a double almost everywhere.
I am always being approached with "I know you..." Most people are mistaken. I have a lot of mistaken identity stories.
The funny thing is, unless you are homeless in my city, or work in those environments, or are a teenage friend of my daughter, you wouldn't know me. I am a bit of a recluse now.
In one town, my double was a very highly paid and well known stripper, that was funny and embarrassing.

Someone in my family said they thought they saw me walking around town once, when the real me was at work.

Yes I think everyone does have a doppelganger...
I have a sister who lives across the country from me and one day I saw her in my local supermarket... this woman did not just somehow resemble my sister, she was the walking talking image of her and it took me by so much to surprise to see her I went up to say hello and it was only when I noticed she was wearing the 'wrong' glasses and she was helping an older woman do her shopping that I realised my mistake....
