Since I got Yahoo even to read my e-mails I have to wait too long or the computer just freez out. Sometimes I can't read power points or even to navigate is hard to do because of the slowness.

Computer Slow
Download and then run startup.exe (FREEWARE) at:

Can't live without it and windows...
Then disable and/or uninstall whatever u don't need.
Other things to try:
1 - Disk Cleanup (removal of temp files, cookies, etc.)
2 - Defrag
3 - Registry Cleanup (CAN BE VERY RISKY!)
ALL ELSE FAILS - RELOAD YOUR O/S (WINDOWS) AND THEN REINSTALL ALL OTHER PROGRAMS YOU NEED/USE!

Do you mean you got Yahoo internet or you downloaded a program? I've had other Internet Service Providers and for me Yahoo has been the slowest so far. If you downloaded a program maybe it has taken up too much of your computer's memory and has slowed the computer down.

Try holding ctn alt an deleat down for a sec wate see whats runing in the back ground or start in safe mode f-8 let them tell you the problem

I guess maybe yahoo is not going well with your computer so maybe you should get google mail or some other mail besides yahoo.

Chances are you dont have enough ram, you were fine before as you may have been just under your limit but now you installed Yahoo its pushed you just over that line.
Remove it or purchase more RAM.

It's probably the yahoo tool bar. Remove it from the control panel and see if this helps.

if u are talking about messenger in yahoo that takes a lot of memory .....if u dont have a lot of memory it will slow ya down ...also if u are on dial up ....i would clean up my puter by defrag....disk clean....clean out your cookies from internet options place ...make sure u dont have a lot of stuff running in the back ground or in your start up menu .....run your anti-spy ware and anti-virus programs make sure u are all cleaned out ...then try it ....also make sure u do your windows updates

what do you mean "got yahoo"? Do you mean the dsl program? you may have spyware or viruses. try scanning your computer for both. good luck.
