Sounds like you have all the symptoms of a haunting.

What to do about it really depends on your beliefs. Some people would have the house blessed, others would call in a medium or clairvoyant.

There isn't really a great deal anyone can do to rid a house of a haunting. They sometimes disappear of their own accord, but sometimes a house will remain "haunted" for generations. The best thing to do would be to accept that it's happening, acknowledge that it's not actually causing you any harm, and think of your "ghost" as an extra house-mate.

I grew up in a house that had something like that. It seemed to focus on me as the 'chosen' kid in the house too.

When my mother died (many years later) and I lived there for a while, preparing the house to sell, it became more active and aggressive. I began talking to it and received some interesting 'visions' (for lack of a better description) that gave me information about itself. We 'made a deal' and it settled down to its usual activity. The new owners were delighted when I 'introduced' them to their invisible tenant and even now, 5 years later, seem quite pleased with their 'ghost'.

Try to keep an open mind and attempt communication. Since it is not being harmful, it is fairly reasonable to assume you could attempt this safely. You don't have to be a psychic to do this and you might learn some pretty cool things.

Interesting. No, I do not believe so. I have not spotted something peculiar or exclusive. I did spend plenty of time on this Victorian condominium that was once constructed in 1860 and noticed/heard particularly a couple of peculiar matters. At night time, repeatedly it looked like the condominium got here alive. We heard what seemed like humans relocating baggage up and down the steps. The bed room door suddenly simply opened slowly like anyone was once coming in. Apparently the humans that owned the condominium earlier than have been identified to depart for the period of the night time afraid. I was once sitting on the most sensible of one of the most staircases and I felt like a cat was once going for walks in the back of me, near however no longer touching. No. The simplest cat within the condominium was once in the toilet particularly a distance away consuming. I would see him. It would no longer had been him. He's quick however no longer that quick. My boyfriend's father inspiration he allow the cat out however he did not. He noticed the cat a couple of mins later. He was once like, what cat did I allow out? There is just one cat. Nothing rather scarey occurred. We simply mentioned, good that was once unusual whilst bizarre matters occurred. I had spent a couple of nights within the condominium alone with the cat.

Doesn't sound like the ghost is hurting you in any way. It seems to like you a bit actually. Sounds like a case of live and let be dead.

I think its a poltergiest. But I don't think its hurting you. If it does cause you some bodily harm, ask a reverend or priest to exorcise the house.
