I wonder why Roma & Sinti have more positive folklore among the Slavic pple and averywhere else in the world they are avoided if not to say hated?
I don't know about Spain and South America though (because of the gipsy kings ^^)

and please no assumptions, gypsies are in those countries also excentric folks.

notice I'm talking about folklore ...
I know they are begging and not working... we fear to meet them in the streets .. but still they are those positive folklores .. and that's the reason what makes me wonder ?

Because Slavic people usually don't have prejudices.

Until 1979 it was law in Czechoslovakia that all male gypsies, Romanies, were to be forceably castrated so i do not think it possible to evn imagine that the slavic people accept the Rhom, Romany, or Gypsy people more than any where else.

The Romany people have been ostracised, discriminated against, and mistreated in all countries of the world.

They too had their own haulocaust during the second world war an yet we do not hear so much about that.

I agree with the previous answer. I also want to add that Roma childern often don't even finish elementary school, and that process of socialization of Romas is indeed very difficult. But people are used to seeing them on the streets all the time so they do not react as someone esle might.

In Slavic countries they are not that accepted...cause they mostly don¸t work but live from benefits. They can¸t even speak the proper language of the country they live in,but they speak their own language. Also, their kids usually beg on the streets and their parents are sending them to do that.
