In reality, it is a cud and water mixture that comes up from stomach one. This is a trick question; the liquid intake is water; but it is not for quenching the thirst.

Water, the same as every other creature put on earth. Humans are the only species that drink milk after being weaned from the teet. If water couldn't sustain us God would have provided other liquids to drink during creation.
