How do I cancel my Mary Kay buisness?

I am an Independant Beauty Consultant and haven't made sales in almost 5 months. I have 2 children and need to quit. How do I do this?

Mary Kay is a good firm. You should be able to just contact the corporate office directly and explain to them that you need to leave the business.

Be polite. Your situation may change in the future and you can give it a go again. You want to be able to do that, I would think. Don't burn any bridges and be "mean" just be honest.

There are two things you can do: 1) Return your starter kit and all of your remaining product to the company. They will reimburse you (90% I think). If you do this, however, you may NEVER become a Consultant again. 2) If you feel that later on you may decide to sell Mary Kay again, you just remain inactive and you'll eventually be dropped from the system. You can sell off your inventory to other Consultants.

I would go with the second option because you never know what may happen. I know a lot of people that wish they hadn't returned everything to the company because they would have liked the option of selling again.

I am a consultant...There may be some things that I would be interested in buying from you below wholesale price--depending on how old they are. What do you have? Because I do not know how old it is I would not pay full price, but we could work something out. Let me know what you have to offer.

Do you have a mentor in the company or anything like that? I do a home business and wehave people who always help us when we struggle with sales. Do you have anyone maybe you can work with, since you have children and obviously need to make money?
