and what would be the chances of the cousins being almost identical to each other if both sets of parents had identical twins of the same sex (4 boys or 4 girls) around the same time frame?

There are twin girls married to twin boys right now. There's a book on twins at Border's that has them. They each have 2 children and claim that they are genetically all brothers and sisters. I'm not sure that identical twins have the EXACT same DNA, but prob to the level that normal tests go, they would appear that way.

you are starting with 4 people, but only 2 sets of DNA. The children of these four people would look as similar as any other children of 2 sets of DNA, i.e. they would be genetic siblings.

Children of identical twins, however, have an increased chance of giving birth to twins themselves. Even if both sets of parents had identical twins, these four children would be genetically like a set of one parents having consecutive identical twins. All four children would not be identical, you would have two sets of identical twins. Hope this makes sense.

Identical

Virtually nil. Just based on how sperm is created. Each sperm is unique and you generate millions each time you ejaculate.

Diversity on the female side is less since, a woman only has a limited number of eggs but that figure is still in the hundreds.

Put the two together and the chances of identical cousins (aka the old Patty Duke Show) is near impossible.

identical twins have the exact same DNA therefore if 2 identical sisters married 2 identical brothers, you would not be able to tell whos children are who by a DNA test
as far as would they look alike, more than likely but not neccesarily
