What would the conservatives do? Would the government work to block free speech once their spin doctors have lost control of public opinion? What would the die-hard conservative thinkers in this country do? Would they just close their eyes, ears and hearts and refuse to accept reality?

The conspiracy theorists would all print t-shirts saying "I told you so."

With any governmental theory there are three things you must consider.

1> All the conspiracy theories are true.

2> All of the points raised are false.

3> Some of the points are true and others are false.

The truth is the hardest to determine in todays world of spin. When you begin to dig into the so called facts, based on the source you then must determine the chances that it would be true or false. If you are refering to the Bush administrations rise to power and the 9/11 theories, you dig into a deep world of information and misinformation. If you start with the confirmable facts, it is always the best place to start. The problem is that most people aren't smart enough to understand the points made by the conspiricy theorists, and therefor will ignore anything said from that camp, so the average American would never give credence to the truth, if it involves anything that they feel "can't happen here." Such as, two Presidents directly linked to the third reich, national election frauds, and the like. While on the other hand believable false conspiricies can be digested by the American public with no evidence at all, Saddam and Al Queda is the perfect example. So to answer your question, it doesn't matter how much "proof" you find, it's unlikely that anybody would believe it.

PS The two Presidents directly linked to the third reich, i.e. NAZI Germany, are the son, and grandson of Prescott Bush. Prescott was the American Banker for the NAZI party, and a NAZI supporter. 100% true, and 100% unreported by the major media outlets.

I think you are witnessing that right now, politicians are stripping away all the free speech and right of the individual in favor of giving them to corporate interests that fund their campaign. CNN just turned down a political ad it didn't like and cited free speech even though campaigners were offering the same money as everyone else. Just look back at Kennedy, all they have to do is keep enough people in the dark long enough and it all magically goes away. By the way, this administration just helped an outside interest to buy the Smithsonian, meaning that information is no longer property of the American public. Its amazing how little coverage something like that gets, the last 100 years of American history is now subject to corporate editing, not that it ever wasn't.

Some conspiracy theories are correct and some are not.

As for the rest of your question, I think reality has already answered it. Die-hard conservatives have shown a remarkable ability to suspend disbelief (e.g. WMDs in Iraq, the Saddam-bin Laden 'connection', Iraqs 'involvement' in 9/11, the claim that the administration received 'faulty intelligence', tax cuts are good for the economy, America is 'safer' because of FEMA and other post 9/11 initiatives).

Yeah I didn't see the planes fly into the buildings or a flag on the moon.Their are too many nut cases like you and sadly enough some are in our Government-hard lined liberals who lie and twist everything around with serpent tongues.I am an American and am sick of the leftists in our country who have taken thier "beating" and now will not help America be great.Because of the lack of backing by 50% of the people our country suffers.C'mon brothers it's time to fight for our nation and our way of life.Already terrorists have changed our way of life and you have the spineless nerve to blame our President. We are becoming like them-hating each other-wake up!

The likelihood of the paranoid consipracy theories being proven correct is pretty close to nil. Still, if it became common belief that the current conspiracy theories were true, there'd be new conspiracy theories that it was all a big lie created by the America Haters.

You can lead a horse to water...
To some people the world will always be black and white because they have been brainwashed to always take the easy way out. Let some one else do the thinking for them. They will listen to their "team's" point of view. Read books by "team" members and everyone not on their "team" is always wrong. This is true no matter what your party affiliation. It is not true for everyone but there are many who enjoy digesting only spoon-fed facts from a few charismatic know-it-alls.

Hundreds of thousands would march on the white house and war crimes would be held. Though your conspiracy theories are preposterous and only suit to give you a false feeling of superiority as if your smart enough to see the cloak that's not there. You suffer from low self-esteem and i implore you to seek counseling. Even extreme Leftist Penn & Teller have debunked this idiocey.

Well the liberals would scream the biggest - I TOLD YOU SO!! If your conspiracies are found to be true - then conservatives would look at themselves and re-evaluate their beliefs and priorities. Then the corrupt individuals would be exiled form the conservative movement.

No, they would make more and more cover ups and eventually have so much misinformation floating around that it would more than drown out the logic behind conspiracy theories...

...Kind of like now.

wmcritter: stfu. You are probably a govt. agent sent to slide conspiracy theorists.

Since you are obviously talking about the Bush administration, I should point out that his approval ratings are already in the dumper. If Bush has any of these brain-washing "spin doctors", they are apparently being ignored by the majority of Americans.
