u can also try compaq Presario, acer, HCL, HP...
upto me HP is very good in regards to media orientation.. system is of high speed..
or as u wish u can get DELL too

What exactly do you mean by media oriented computer? If it is a high end system that you want to use as a workstation then you might want to buy something that has a good Graphics card (with some dedicated memory) and good memory and high speed hard disk to say the least. If you are an Indian or are in India, you can avail this opportunity by making your own computer which is called assembled computer.
If you just need a PC with good looks and normal daily media manipulation plus with excellent looks I would suggest a Mac. (MS office works on Mac too.)
