i think that if your whole room is baby pink adding another detail with the same color could be a little too much.. instead try something to "brake" it up a bit, like pale purple or even simple off- white with some silver or golden thread design

i have to say dark reds like maroons are very romantic but since ur room is baby pink you might want to do soemthing striped with thouse colors in a very soft and thick luxurious fabric
