It's not an opinion or a dig at anyone who does it. I am just curious as to why some do and why some dont? I dont have digital camera but if I did, I dont know if I would (and i think i'm a bit of alright). It's brave. Do any of you wish to attract an admirer? Would more of you do it if you knew how? and why would or wouldn't you?

I use my avatar because I don't like the way my pictures look when they are made all tiny on Yahoo Answers. However, if you click on my name to see my profile it gives you the option to view my 360 page where I have a couple photos of myself. I don't do that because I think I'm attractive. As a matter of fact, I am just a chubby ol' kinda goofy, kinda average gal. I show my pic because that's who I am, and I am not ashamed. :)

Some do and some don't, the latter just don't care and want their friends to recognise them behind the pseudonyms. In my case I don't care either and couldn't be bothered to look for a photo. I do however find people with real photos intriguing in the same way that you do?

I go back and forth between real pics and avatars.....but when I set up this profile I was too lazy to find a pic so I just left it blank. Of course if I did put up a pic I would only pic one that was (in my opinion) a good one of me......but I am not trying to attract anyone.

I think the ones that do must think they look good. Me? Attract an admirer? NVR! I don't look good enough. Yet. I know how to put my picture here. I just don't.

I don't know if they think they are good looking or not, but I'm sure they post one of their "better" pictures. I know I would. You have to be careful about though; there's a fine line between "admirer" and "stalker".

Well, my real photo just looks like an empty room to people. But the room is neat and clean, so I guess it is good looking.
