we went to war for less. Do we have to take excuses for this? Is our sovereignty diminished by doing nothing?

Because the Bush Administration is in a state of denial and a vain glorious opinion of its self. Israel is leading the US and Britain around by their noses. Ask yourself why. How can that scab on the face of the world do this? Follow your nose to the secret stench of the money trail (oil and other vested interests) that has a smothering grip on all of us.
We are lead by lunatics!
And the Canadians who died were United Nation Observers doing their jobs!

Canadian citizens living in Israel and Lebanon complain they are not being evacuated quick enough. Why are tax payers money being used to get them out? You have lots of money,big houses there, know the turmoil/danger (it's not new and just started yet you still live there and use your passport and citizenship as a convenience.Get yourself out. You make your bed, sleep in it. I am allowed to have dual citizenship but since I am a Canadian citizen I only have 1 passport. I do visit my family in my native homeland but if there is a chance of danger I do not go, I do not live there. Enough is enough, make a choice.
