disagree with them? Most of you are always preaching about loving everyone no matter what. So it's funny how the minute that someone disagrees with you, you turn into raving lunatics who spew hate everywhere. Really, people practice what you preach and don't be hypocrites.

It's more so how the questions are asked. More often than not, I feel like I'm in a cage in a zoo and people are looking at me as though I'm/we/gay people are something they have never seen before. Are we really such an oddity? Are there really THAT many sheltered people out there?

You shouldn't categorize homosexuals that way. There are many who are not. However, like any cross section of society, you will have the entire spectrum.

I think you're making your assumption on a limited sampling of the gay population. I know many who are able to actively disagree with another person and not be a raving lunatic. I also know some who turn into raving lunatics at the drop of a hat. However, this is also true will the straight people I know.

I guess, to answer your question, some gays turn into raving lunatics when somebody disagrees with them because it is in their nature to do so. It is not about them being gay; it is about them being human. This is true with all people, regardless of their subculture.

Your questions asked in this forum are generally hateful. You don't just disagree with gay people you are hateful towards them.

You say homosexuals are wrong, unnatural and liken them to sick animals that should be killed.

You say that homosexuals aren't fit to raise children and that they pollute children's minds.

After these two efforts, you then ask if homosexuals honestly feel they will be accepted by society.

Now I ask you, who is the raving lunatic? Who is spewing hate?

Candy, you really aren't very sweet. If you were really interested in gay people you would not ask questions here in the demeaning manner that you do.

Your only interest is in putting homosexuals down and if you're met with some hostility, you're only getting what you justly deserve.

Well most of the time when you see a raving lunatic response to a question it is because the person asking the question may have already used his previous questions to rile up his audience so that when he asks a normal sounding question and they respond with anger he can point and say see here they prove what I have been saying.
Or the asker may be using a word that is defamatory.
And often times the asker is using his religious zeal to in effect tell us we are all going to hell for who we love.

There are three topics guaranteed to rile people up politics religion and sex. And when you combine two of these you can expect to get angry responses to even seemingly politely asked questions.

You obviously have not taken the time to get to know a reasonable amount of homosexuals or you would not say such a thing. I say a reasonable amount because if you happen to know one or two gays you can't base one tenth of the worlds population on this one person. You seem very judgemental and I am willing to bet that most gays would not feel comfortable confiding in you. Not all of feel a need to wave rainbow flags all over creation and plaster our cars with pink triangles. Our sexuality is our business. And we don't have to justfy our selves to you.

And you can call us anything you want. But we have the right to defend our selves and we will.

Most of the gays don't preach love, they preach desire for rights and freedoms ENTITLED to us by the US Constitution. What you're referring to is self-proclaimed martyrs. When you want to bash a group of people make sure you get the stereotypes right to avoid looking like an a$$!

I'm sorry that you feel hated, but I did go back and look at some of your questions and answers, and they were anything but filled with love.
Maybe with some time and maturity, you can come to understand that. But you have to know that you've come into the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transsexual section of this service, seeking opportunities to put gay people down, it is natural that you experience some backlash. For what other reason do you read and respond in this section?

I have to disagree. Sometimes I asked questions about homosexuality here and most of the answers were very nice.

I don't do that, but it is sooooo tiresome and annoying to be told you are EVIL or GOING TO HELL because you do something someone disagrees with because they were told some old book says not to. Really, you sound pretty hateful right now. And aren't Christians supposed to be kind, loving, and not judge others?

Interesting observation. I am only hateful to people who are hateful to me first. My mother raised me that I have to be nice to everyone unless they are rude first. She raised me that there is no reason to be rude to anyone. As children we were raised with manners that now carry through to adulthood. Maybe you should look at your experiences to see what may have caused you to feel this way about people. Are all str8 people nice to you, have you ever run into a str8 person that was mean to you?
