because ppl are really stupid and they dont know what real beauty is ! im latin but ive seen more beautiful gals walking on the street that on those contests.... but yeah u gotta be like 2 meters tall and be skinny like a dry stick to be miss univers.... so lame! people dont realize that they have thir own beautiful miss universe at home ! and they are smart and caring and not just plastic ..... damn

Since is Miss Universe, it should be barbie doll. Barbie doll came from the Universe not planet Earth. I think they should include Alien there too. This also mean that Asians people not an Aliean. LOL.

People don't know real beauty. Personally I think Asian girls look better the barbie dolls in most cases, and I am an American.

I've always thought Miss Universe winners were always from Latin America. They always have one from Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Brazil and others. They always get into the top. A lot of beauty pageant schools or "training camps" are in those countries (or so I've heard).

I remember a Miss Thailand winning in the late 80's.
I know she was not the 1st winner from Thailand.
I also know a Miss Japan won years back.

Yeah, fair point, but then again, how come they're never Alpha Centaurians or Betelgeusians either - if we're gonna have a Miss UNIVERSE competition, let's really open it up here.
