Warehouses are generally for storing large pallet quantity stock with only people there to forklift the pallets on and off trucks.
The trucks that come in usually carry only one brand/type of product. Other trucks then come to load one or two pallets of a couple of different products from there to bring to the Distribution center.
The Distribution center then breaks down the palleted products and puts them on smaller trucks to be sent to retail stores.
