David Gilmour handled most of the vocals during the 70's including most of Dark Side of the Moon. For the group's first album, Piper at the Gates of Dawn, the lead singer was Syd Barrett (who passed away recently) and on "Have a Cigar" Roy Harper was the guest vocalist.
