I believed it was called "Pangea".......which stood for supercontinent.

Pangaea is the name.
Technically, though, the land on earth is still one big mass [i.e. the earth's crust] but parts of that mass have water on them.

It's called Pangaea [pan-jay-yer](meaning 'all land'). The sea is called the Tethys sea.
It then seperated into Laurasia in the North and Gondwana in the South.
