Biologists say that the optimal life span of any animal is 6 times their age at full physical maturity. Humans are considered mature at age 20. So 6x20=120. And in fact, that is the age that most scientists feel humans can achieve (barring technological interventions like cloning, etc.) if they can avoid the illnesses commonly associated with aging.

Till we want to live. If such a decission would be made optional then someone would prefer to live till an age wherein he is accepted by the society.
That would be around 65 years
