There are too many variables. You failed to say make, engine size, manual trans, Model etc, etc. Country?
Variations anywhere from $1000-$5000. Big bucks. Get a written quote before getting it done, and get a remanufactured garanteed engine. Don't have yours redone. Use a reputable dealership since they will have all the proper tools to do it right.

Depends on the make and model and year of the car in question. It also depends on whether you want a new or rebuilt or used engine. Then unless you intend to replace the engine yourself, there is the cost of labor. I know this isnt really helpful, but your question is too general to answer with an exact figure.

Depends on your car. The more expensive the car, more than likely the mor expensive the engine. A rebuild will save you $$$. You may get lucky and find a good engine at an auto salvage yard.

A lot. If you have to replace an engine you might as well buy a new car.

car to car is going to be different. normally, WAY to much. depending on current body modifications would say if it will be worth it or not... good luck. (If you have not put a body kit or done modifications I suggest buy a used car. But have it taken to a mechanic to have it checked over. You don't want to buy a problem worse than you already have)

Depends on your car, the new engine power and preferences etc...
But usually it's the most expensive part of ANY car so be prepaired...

It varies depending on the make and model of the car and who you get to do it.

if your doing it yourself, it depends on how much the engine is, bu i would say you could do it for a grand or less. if someone else is doing it, i would say 2-3 thousand.

if you replace it with a used engine 1200.00 to 2000.00 .
if replaced with a new one 4000.00 to 6000.00.
this also depends on what type of car
