We need to revise the voting system to accommodate additional parties with parliamentary-style representation. Smaller parties can then form coalitions to get enough power to override the "major" party line and actually get some changes done. As it stands now, both parties must have a candidate that panders to everyone, which dumbs down the platform and isn't really good for anyone. O Great Spirit help our land!

The world that used to be is gone. It's time for the American Government(and some la la land people) to wake up.We must not be blind to what's really going on when the hatred between our 2 parties threaten our Nation from being a great one.Such as; people want to be safe but Oh my God,don't look in my handbag.Want that small freedom taken away?Or be dead?Oh,the question?Money wins-we lose.

There is a crying need for a REAL third party that would actually do what the people want, to wit, they would rein in excessive spending and give everyone a MAJOR tax break who isn't independently wealthy. I don't see either party doing that; the Dems always RAISE taxes, while the Reps only cut them for the super-rich.

As elections in the USA are largely bought, whichever candidate that can raise the most funds by promising their allegiance to big business will be put forward by their party, and the most corrupt candidate from the two parties will have raised the most funds, and will produce the biggest campaign to discredit his opponent, and will be elected president.

A government of the people, by the people, and for the people, I think not.
