I just read a really good article in American baby last night on this, they have proven remedies to soothe, I will list what I can remember
Frozen teething rings
Rolled up frozen washclothes
Frozen bananas
Of course the traditional Infant tylenol and orajel
letting her bite on things like a board book or plush animal
frozen waffles
my son is teething right now too, he's getting teeth number 15 and 16 and I tell you what I am a firm believer in Tylenol, its the only thing that seems to alleviate some of the pain, and he is soooo fussy when they are coming in and drool just pours from his mouth for days and he gets diarhea and a runny nose so its not fun at my house but I usually give him a popsicle and some frozen stuff and of course his tylenol and it make sit bearable for the worst 2-3 days of the whole thing

Keep using the orgel but try alternating baby Motrin with baby Tylenol go back and forth the Motrin will help with the inflammation and ease the pain. Give her lots of frozen Popsicles to suck on that will also help numb her gums. When my kids were little they had those teething rings that you freeze and let the baby chew on see if you can find her some of those.

Hyland's Homeopathic Teething Tablets are *THE BEST* teething remedy out there!

Also, cold hard firm celery sticks work GREAT. They can reach anywhere in the mouth, unlike other teethers, and unless baby has a lot of teeth they can't bite anything off of it. Of course baby should be supervised if you give her the celery.

Another good one is to tie a ice cube up inside a baby sock or get one of those "baby safe feeder" things (little net with a handle) and put an ice cube in it.

I wouldn't say freeze a teething ring but definately leave in the fridge until very cold. The gels are magic unless your baby doesn't like the taste and they are also not good once the toothe has broken the skin.

cold wash rags......cold or frozen teething rings......gerber bread sticks.......they also have big bibs that have little rubber corners that the baby can teethe on. Basically anything hard, cold, or both. Also, find something that might help the baby sleep....triametic or something like that. Just be careful if you have already given tylenol, it might have it in there too. Good luck!

I agree that the teething tablets are the best. I felt like nothing I did worked for my kids but then I found the teething tablets and they instantly melt on contact to you don't have to worry about them choking or anything like that.

Go buy a teething ring and throw it in the freezer for an hour.

Try freezing a small wet washcloth in a baggie. Then when it's very cold, let her chew on it (without the baggie of course).

Also, get those little freeze teething things & try those.
