You don't have to but it is awkward for the other person if you don't because it's not as passionate as it is when your eyes are closed. If you kiss with your eyes open it seems like you are looking around and distracted by other things and not fully into the kiss!

You don't have to close your eyes when kissing, it just cuts everything else out so you can concentrate on the kiss and the person you are kissing, it also feels more enjoyable like you are tasting something you really like. My boyfriend makes my toes curl when I kiss him, eyes open or closed!!

Cause when Henry Kissing her was kissing her with his eyes open, he saw that she had her eyes shut, he was ever so moved by the concentration of her kiss (much less her saliva), a law was passed in the state of Texas requiring all kissing couples to have thier eyes closed.
The Forensic lab in Iowa now contends that by doing so, you are not committing to anything caused you havent actually seen who you are kissing and you can then act as a hostile witness in your case if called for an eye witness

You don't have to, but some people say that if You kiss with your eyes open you don't love the other person. Sometimes it's true but sometimes not. When I open my eyes it is because I want to see the beautiful face of the one i kiss.

We close our eyes when we kiss so we don't laugh at each other. Or so we can think that it's someone esle. lol

we dont HAVE to, even though most people do. i honestly sometimes do and sometimes don't. i open my eyes sometimes to see if the person is getting into it. and other times i can feel the passion so i just leave them closed. okay, hopefullly that helped a little.

Don't have to. I only close them when I'm kissing my wife now, because she turn into one fat, ugly *****, inside and out.
