As long as it is not a felony you shouldn't have a problem getting the license. As a felony, it is reviewed on a case by case basis but would be grounds for denial.
Your problem is going to be getting a broker to sponsor you. Most real estate companies require you to maintain 100/300/100 insurance coverage on your vehicle which could be expensive with a DUI so that may be a consideration. I would meet with several companies to one interview and two find out so that you don't go through all of the trouble if they aren't going to be willing to hire you. Not to mention, most companies offer some pre employment training and reimbursements, etc.
I am an agent and mortgage originator with a national company that is open to anyone. Email me with any questions or concerns.

Depends on what's concerned in acquiring a Real Estate Agent's Licence. Depends on what the regional legislation is related to who might promote truly property. One skills of getting a Real Estate Agent's licence is that can get know-how approximately a suitable position to shop for earlier than it turns into public expertise. You is also equipped to buy it with out festival. (I am now not advocating Insider Trading).

as long as you DISCLOSE IT on your application to the Real Estate Commission, then i think you'll be ok.
however, if you have a suspended license, wouldn't that make it EXTREMELY hard to be a realtor, seeing as they have to DRIVE???
