I think some people looked waaaaay too far into this question. Does it really matter what election? President, congressman, senate, mayor, anything. Yes it's a hypothetical question, but they are fun questions to see what other people think would happen. So far, Clinton has won this decision by an overwhelming margin. It doesn't mean anything though. Lighten up you guys!

Since there really is no way of naming a "best" answer, I will leave it up to the voting public. Thank you all!

Bush. He got 51% of popular vote, Clinton only got 49%. The only reason Clinton won anything was Ross Perot.

Clinton by an overwhelming margin. The Lewinsky scandal means nothing in the broad scope of things. Clinton left office with a 65% approval rating, and that was AFTER "Monicagate". Bush Jr. can barely even get out of the thirties. Plus, more and more Americans are growing fed up with him, whether that's deserving or not. (It is, in my opinion, but that's another story.) If Clinton and Bush could both run again in '08 and they did, it'd be no contest.

The question is rhetorical, but if it came to pass I think Bill would be the better choice. After all, he and the congress did manage to balance the budget and actually have a surplus. Since Bush has been in office it has been an ever increasing deficit that any one with two eyes and common sense can see. Just because Bill happened to get him a little skull on the side did not hamper his ability to run the country effectively!!!!!!

Earlier, someone asked if we thought this country should be divided. I believe that Clinton couldn't possibly get enough votes to become dog catcher, but in the event he did win, this country would most assuredly divide itself.
It's time Americans got past this Clinton part of our lives. I wish that each one of you who think this guy was such a good president, to read a book on the Clinton presidency. I'm confident that your positive image of Clinton would rapidly diminish.

It would be Clinton by a nice margin as Bush's approval is plumetting and lets face we'd prefer a charismatic, sensible leader than a person who makes more administrative mistakes than the last 10 US presidents including Nixon.

Win what? Both can not contest for president's election since they have done their two terms. Having been president they are unlikely to contest for any other election. Hence this question is hypothetical and does not relate to any real situation. Therefore a hypothetical answer is that either of them can win depending on what the contest is about.

I heard Tiger Woods exchange into in invoice Clinton's nook ,it quite is undesirable information for Bush because of the fact Woods and Clinton are 2 cheaters ,and Tiger Woods could additionally provide invoice Clinton extra balls to combat. i think of invoice Clinton could win on a controversial determination.

Bill Clinton would win hands down!!!! The man is extremely intelligent and really cares about people!!!! If you look at his record you will see he was one of the best presidents we ever had! Unfortunately, he made very poor personal choices.
